Website updates! 2026

10 whole years and we have finally started the updates on this page!

Jail Support is still alive & well, we are reorganizing our existing structures. Making sure the new comers entering the space can have a better understanding on how to utilize their skills. More clarity around working groups & how to support the group outside of sitting. & we do still need consistent people to sit at Central Booking for us. We will have more updates to come but for now here are our solidified days:

Wednesday 8-11pm

2 sifts: 8-9:30pm & 9:30-11pm

Friday 7-11pm

2 shifts: 7-9pm & 9-11pm

Holiday Schedule + Needs

Folks have been asking us if we will have weekly jail support on December 25th and January 1st (both sundays). The answer is yes! Members of the collective will be out there both those days and the jail is expected to continue to release people on both holidays.

In other news we are currently in need of a storage space!We recently lost the space that we were storing supplies in. We are looking for a secure space to store some plastic bins, a folding table, and a canopy permanently that can be accessed each sunday before 4pm, and again after 10pm. Preferably close to the Baltimore Detention Center, and without a staircase! *** Please email baltimorejailsupport@riseup.net if you think you can offer this space.
